Judging
A panel of 3 Celebrity judges will be officially judging the show and will be crowning the 2017 Living Dead Girl Queen! Contestants will participate in a pin up style attire and/or tasteful swimwear fashion show. This show is going to be different – We will be making you into a “Hot Zombie” with our union movie make-up artists!

You will enter the stage and speak briefly about your background and model your outfit or swimwear in a tasteful manor. Ladies, you will freely roam the entire venue before during and just prior to entering the stage for the contest…. Taking pictures and schmoosing with the Scare-cast, Judges and VIPs…. All contestants will then be individually presented in front of the panel for judging. Personality Congeniality and Ladylikeness will all be present at all times. The top 3 finalists will be called forward and crowned as 3rd, 2nd or Queen of the Show.

Event Timeline
THIS TIMING MAY VARY except initial call time of 5pm – WILL BE CONFIRMED THE DAY BEFORE
5:00pm – Call Time. Please check in at the Pin up Registration Booth to be appointed your make-up artist.
6:30pm – Group Shot led by Tour Bus Live Photography. Please note that you will forfeit your position in the group photo should you not be there on time.
6:45pm – Random drawing to assign contestants to photographers for the shoot-out. Please note that you will forfeit your position in the photo shoot should you not be there on time for the selection.
7:00pm – Orange Carpet and Your photographer will take your group for the Shoot Out. Every contestant will have a solo opportunity to model.

Stage times, break time and official judging time will be announced at a later date when the producer has set the schedules for the bands.

Contest Rules & Guidelines
•Contestants MUST be at least 21 years of age.
•Entry Fee for each contestant will be $30.00 unless sponsored. The CASH prizes available to the winners of the contest are $200.00 (1st place), $100 (2nd place), and $50.00 (3rd place).
•Winner will be determined by a panel of Celebrity judges, NOT public voting.
•Each lady will check in & be a part of the group shot promptly at 6:30pm. Photographic opportunities for yourself will be made with the photographer judges. Have fun.
•Throughout the show, each contestant will be asked to enter the stage in numerical order, state her stage name and say something about herself.
•Vintage props and accessories are highly encouraged however please no umbrellas in group shot.
•Ladies should be dressed in pre-approved, era-appropriate, pin-up attire. All dresses must extend to the tips of your fingers fully extended. (Classy - NOT Trashy)
•No nudity, flashing, pasties or lingerie… Please follow the dress code provided above.
•One outfit Change will happen during the contest and ladies will be instructed to return to the stage promptly so they can strut their stuff!!! Depending on the make-up we may keep it at 1 outfit~
•All contestants are responsible for being Cautious around the theatre – BE RESPECTFUL AND COURTIOUS TO This Historic Venue> No inappropriate behavior will be permitted as the individual could be held liable and responsible for any damages.
•All contestants are responsible for providing for their own hair, and styling. This is your chance to be unique and creative!
•A professionally taken image for use to promote you as the contestant must be submitted along with this application. It may be from a tight headshot to a full body but isolated such that only you are seen (plus relevant props). Image must be current (taken on or after Jan 01, 2017). It can be cute and sassy, cheesecake, classic pin-up but as always the classier the better. Inappropriate poses will not be accepted. Please submit the image in the form of a JPG or PSD (no PDF's will be accepted) sized as 4x5/4x6 @300 dpi. The image will be used for promotional materials thus permission from the photographer must be included in writing. It is up to the contestant to provide an adequate image in good taste. Logos of the photographer and photo credits are encouraged.
•Drug use and excessive drinking resulting in being drunk is prohibited by pageant contestants. Any contestant found to be extremely intoxicated/disruptive will be asked to leave the competition/event as this is a family event.
•Should a contestant be dismissed from the pageant for any reason, your entry fee will NOT be refunded nor will your sponsor’s

Photo Submission
Applicants are required to submit a photo in their outfit for pre-approval. Inappropriate poses will not be accepted. The image will be used for promotional materials so permission from the photographer must be included in writing. It is up to the contestant to provide an adequate image in good taste. Logos of the photographer and photo credits are encouraged. Images must be JPEG and PNG format and under 5MB.

Copyright Release
I do hereby give HELL-A, along with the Rock Against MS Foundation, the Los Angeles Theatre, its sponsors and vendors the irrevocable right to use my name (real or stage), portrait in all forms and media without any restriction as to changes or alterations for advertising, promotion, exhibition, or any other lawful purpose. I waive the right to inspect or approve the photographs including written copy that may be created and appear in connection. I agree that the following photographers/videographer own the copyright in these photographs and I hereby waive any claims I may have based on the usage of photographs or derived from, including but not limited to claims for either invasion of privacy or label.
